Mr. William Caffey is originally from the San Francisco area, but was raised in Great Britain, then Maryland, and worked in southwestern states before settling with his wife of 20 years in Oregon. Prior to teaching, he worked in the private sector in marketing positions for several corporations, including American Airlines where he helped develop that company's presence on the nascent World Wide Web.

Mr. Caffey earned his Master of Arts Teaching degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR, and has been teaching at Lebanon High School since 2004. He is highly qualified to teach both Social Studies and English Language Arts.

He lives with his wife, Brie, in a restored vintage (1929) home, has a son of whom he couldn't be more proud, and is also "dad" to two well-behaved dogs. When not teaching, Bill reads, sails, builds acoustic guitars and spends time in their garden.
